What can I expect?
A safe, non-judgemental, healing and confidential space in which you have the support to explore whatever is challenging you. You have an opportunity to gain a new perspective.
Who is Counselling/Therapy suitable for?
Counselling/Therapy is suitable for any adult willing and open to exploring their personal difficulties. Counselling/Therapy is not just for the intellectual and articulate; indeed, over-use of the intellect can block feelings and the recognition of emotions.
How will I benefit?
Counselling/Therapy can help you to understand yourself better; it can untangle painful knotted areas which block the way to living a happy and more meaningful life.
Why can’t I talk to a friend about my difficulties?
Talking to a sympathetic friend can be helpful, but it is not the same as talking to a professional Counsellor/Therapist who, through their expertise and experience, can help you to facilitate change.
How much does it cost?
I charge £50 per session.
How long is a session?
Sessions are for 50 mins and usually take place once a week. Work can be short or long term and can also be reviewed at any time. For some people a short series of sessions are sufficient for their needs, although for other people a longer term commitment is more beneficial.
Where am I based?
I have two practices, one in Mill Hill, North London, and the other in Kings
Langley, Herts, ten minutes from Watford.
How soon can I see you?
Depending on my availability, it is normally possible to have an initial
meeting within a few days.
“I found Claire very supportive, perceptive, and kind, and her support has helped me to realise I am always connected to other people, and to kindness."
